Groundbreaking Ceremony for the ZIMA Project “
“Grete-Gulbranssonweg” in Bludenz

Dornbirn/Bludenz, March 25, 2026 – The ceremonial groundbreaking on March 24 in Bludenz marked the official launch of the new ZIMA housing project “Grete-Gulbranssonweg.” In a beautiful, green location at the foot of the Montikel, a total of 16 condominiums are being built, spread across two buildings. The project combines modern architecture, high-quality finishes, and a sustainable energy concept. About half of the units have already been sold—a clear sign of the appeal of the location and the residential concept.

Stylish architecture with a high quality of living
With the “Grete-Gulbranssonweg” project,ZIMA is creating a high-quality residential complex in Bludenz featuring a variety of 2- to 4-bedroom condominiums. The clean lines, striking wooden facade, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious terraces and garden areas give the project a timeless yet cozy character. The two buildings blend harmoniously into the hillside, creating a cohesive overall appearance. Inside, the high-quality ZIMA standard finishes ensure comfort and timeless elegance. An on-site underground parking garage, private basement storage units, visitor parking, and a children’s playground round out the amenities.

“With Grete-Gulbranssonweg, we are building on the success of previous residential projects in this location, which are now home to many satisfied residents. Our goal was to once again develop a project that stands out architecturally, offers a high quality of living, and blends sensitively into its surroundings,” said Claudio Kohler, Managing Director of ZIMA Wohn Baugesellschaft.

Sustainable Energy Plan

The project also sets a clear example in terms of energy efficiency. The residential complex is heated by a heat pump and also features a photovoltaic system. The extensive greening of the flat roofs not only ensures an ecologically sound use of the roof space but also helps to cool the building on warm days. In this way, the project combines sustainability with long-term efficiency and living comfort.

Life Between Nature and the City
Grete-Gulbranssonweg offers a location that combines living close to nature with urban amenities. Just a few meters away lies the Rungeliner Forest, offering a wide range of hiking and recreational opportunities. The Val Blu leisure pool, Unterstein Stadium, the tennis club, and other sports and recreational facilities are also located in the immediate vicinity. At the same time, local shops, bus stops, schools, and the Bludenz train station are within easy reach. Bludenz’s city center is just a few minutes away, enhancing the residential environment with additional quality of life.
